i just received the new PAM305 with a 7750 automatic mechanism. the seconds dial was not moving, so i tinkered with the crown to change the time and date. that went fine, then i tried to carefully wind it a few turns and nothing. Looking at a Noob Factory Rolex that is offered with Asian movements 2813, 2836, 3131 and 3135. Besides the price what is the difference? I also assume that if the swiss movement is available and the funds are available that would be the best choice, correct? What "japanese movement" is it you normally have. The asian 2836-2 beats at 28,800 vph so is super smooth and is 99% of the time very reliable. the next best movement i believe is the selitta SW200 which is quite a bit more expensive.One of these movements is Caliber 3235, which is Rolex’s principal time and date automatic movement used in cornerstone collections like the Rolex Datejust and Submariner.
