Your Rolex not having any tint on the cyclops does not preclude others having it which they do. Besides removing the AR will make the cyclops worse The underside coating is evident because of those who have removed their cyclopses - it's clearly visible on the underside of the crystal. The external coating appears to be present because reflections of light off of the cyclops itself appear blue-tinted, which is indicative of the external coating. Looking at the cyclops under direct light -- on the 41 I see more of a blue hue, and on the 36 it's more of white. Wouldn't the same year have the same type of anti-reflective coating? Or even if they didn't, why would the 36 be different from 41 of the same year?
