The EDT being a bit lighter while more in your face with the pepper. The EDP is a bit deeper but didn’t feel as versatile to me.It has a lot more depth than the EDT, lasts longer on skin, and leaves a far more seductive scent trail. Think Sauvage EDT except they dialled down the screechy ambroxan, added more pepper and put some vanilla and extra nutmeg spice. Gorgeous from opening to drydown. More mature, refined, timeless. Where Sauvage was aimed at the 20-30 somethings with the EDT and EDP, Dior tried stretching that into the middle-age crowd by toning down the performance going for more depth. I think Elixir is the best of the four for performance, but . By the help of a friend, i noticed Dior on their website has changed the formula code and many ingredients for both the EDT and EDP. Rather ridiculously I was told by a SA that the EdT is meant for daytime, the EdP for evening and the Parfum for "wearing overnight" as it sits so close to the skin. I have the original formula, which I find less exciting than the EDT and not as smooth as the Parfum. Anyone out there who has tried both EDP formulas?
